In true Dr. Martens style, the 1460 boots and this campaign stand for individuality: “being authentic, being one of one.” The 1460 is an iconic part of Dr. Martens history, and its design has remained unchanged for 60 years. Admired for its versatility and enduring appeal, the style has long been a symbol of individuality, strength, and self-expression, making it the perfect canvas for Nia’s bold, genre-defying artistry.

The free-spirited and boundary-pushing singer is a lifelong wearer of their infamous 1460 boot, and her energy is a perfect concoction of all that Dr. Martens represents. The campaign, directed by Rawtape (Rory A Wood), tells the evolutionary story of Nia’s relationship to her beloved 1460’s. Taking inspiration from Nia’s intimate experience of purchasing her first pair of Dr. Martens, the store clerk, Danny Dyer, is the catalyst that fuels her self-transformation. Throughout the years, the clips showcase her growth from a teenager to a rising superstar, revealing the layered facets of her personality, looks, and styles.
