Boots, in summer? Fashion-forward celebrities vote yes. While knee-highs aren't something you’d naturally reach for when the weather is warm, Katie Holmes, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Emily Ratajkowski and Rihanna have made a convincing case for wearing boots with summer dresses this season.

Stars have been styling boots with everything from thigh-skimming minis to lace slips and T-shirt maxis of late. Heeled boots have been particularly popular; ditto pointed-toe versions.

When it comes to brands, Milan-based Paris Texas is a favourite among the A-list, loved for its classic silhouettes and buttery leather fabrications.
